Patient Communication

Here at Children’s Dental Care, patient communication is one of our top priorities! Need an appointment or have a question? Simply send a text to our office number. We also help you stay ahead of your busy schedule by sending regular appointment reminders through text, email, and even phone calls. Your child’s oral health is important. We’re just a text away.

Appointment Policy

A specific timeframe is allotted for your child according to his or her treatment needs. As a courtesy, Children’s Dental Care will make every attempt through texts, emails, and phone calls to remind you of upcoming visits. Please remember that you, as the responsible party, are ultimately responsible for your child’s appointment and as such we respectfully ask that you take a moment to record appointments on your calendar or on your phone.

We request a 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Multiple broken/missed appointments without a 24-hour notice of cancellation may be subject to dismissal from the practice.

Financial Policy and Payment Plans

Fees incurred for dental services are due in full when services are rendered unless another plan has been arranged with the office manager. We accept cash, check, Debit Card, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, and Care Credit.

The cost of treatment will vary depending on your child’s individual needs and treatment plan. We will discuss the cost of treatment and each of the available payment plan options with you before your child begins treatment so you can make the best choice for your child and your family.

Private Insurance (Employer-Provided or Self Insured)

Not all dental services are a covered benefit in all contracts. It is your responsibility to know your benefits. We will attempt to estimate expenses prior to your visit to our office. However, please be prepared to pay any deductible, co-pay, or other expenses in excess of the estimates at the time of service. We are currently in network with Delta Dental and most BlueCross Blue Shield (Grid+) plans.

NH Medicaid, VT Medicaid, and MassHealth (State Funded)

Every morning we check the insurance eligibility of the patients we are seeing that day. You are responsible for your child’s Medicaid to be up to date and active on the day of any appointment. If it is NOT active you may pay out of pocket for the appointment or reschedule. If rescheduled, it may count as a broken or missed appointment.
